1. Passport

   The applicant's actual passport. The passport must: 

   • Have at least three blank visa pages with two of the pages facing each other
   • Be valid for six months beyond entry date

2. Photographs

   Two passport sized colour photographs. The photographs must:

   • Have a white background
   • Be taken within the last six months

3. Business Introduction Letter

   A letter of introduction from the applicant's UK employer. A copy is acceptable. This letter must:

   • Be on company letterhead paper
   • Include the name of the applicant
   • Specify the purpose of journey as business discussions only
   • Specify the exact nature of the business discussions which must include all topics on the agenda 
   • Specify who is attending
   • Specify the exact duration of the business meetings
   • Include the name of the organisation(s) to be visited
   • Specify the requested number of entries and the length of visa required
   • Include an acceptance of financial responsibility for the applicant
   • Be signed by the applicant's supervisor or the company's HR department

4. Visa Application Form

   One fully completed and signed application form

5. VisaExpress Order Confirmation

   For orders placed on the VisaExpress website, a copy of the Online Order Confirmation which is sent to you via email, must be submitted.

   For all other orders, and where applicable, a completed Manual Order Form should be submitted.

   Please note that all card payments will only be made upon completion of the visa application process. 

6. Visa Conditions

   Applicants who state anything other than "business discussions" on the documentation supplied risk being asked to get a "Carrying on Temporary Assignment" permit costing US$200.00 by immigration upon arrival.   

   A CTA is required by all those who intend to visit Tanzania for purposes of making feasibility studies, establishing professional and business contacts and making arrangements for investments during the start-up period.    

   There are no specific guidelines issued by the High Commission regarding the issuance of business visas that do not require a CTA on arrival, it is on a case by case scenario and the High Commission's decision will be final and cannot be contested by VisaExpress.

   This must be provided as a copy of the flight confirmation showing onward/return travel

4. Visa Application Form

   One fully completed and signed application form

5. VisaExpress Order Confirmation

   For orders placed on the VisaExpress website, a copy of the Online Order Confirmation which is sent to you via email, must be submitted.

   For all other orders, and where applicable, a completed Manual Order Form should be submitted.

   A copy of the flight confirmation showing both dates of entry and exit for those requiring a double entry visa
